Farm Kids DIY Natural Products Workshop

October 9th @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm| $65 | ages 4 – 15 yrs

Girls and boys alike have absolutely loved making Natural Products that we create at some of our Farm Kids and Mini Farmers Workshops! So… we have decided to offer a special one-off DIY Natural Products Workshop where the children get to harvest flowers and herbs and turn them into gorgeous products that’s good for them and good for the planet. We use organic products where possible.

We will go on a tour of The Farm’s market gardens where we will collect flowers and herbs to use in some of our natural products.  The kids will learn all about the importance and benefits to them and the planet of using naturally made products as well as gain knowledge on how they can easily make these at home. 

Discussion focus - The benefits of Natural products versus chemically laden products and the adverse effects it can have on our bodies.

Craft - Bath bombs / Lip balm

If the kids can let go of their grasp on these wonderful creations, they also make for beautiful gifts.

What to bring

– Sturdy walking shoes
– Raincoat
– Sunhat
– Afternoon tea snack
– Backpack (to carry above)

Where to meet

We will meet at the Farm House opposite the restaurant. Please look out for the signs to guide you.

Ages

These workshops are appropriate for children aged 4 and older. If your child is 4 you will need to remain onsite at The Farm. Children as old as 15 have enjoyed our workshops. Checkout our Mini Farmers program if you are 7 and older and want a full day working farm experience.
