Private Open Flower Field Session

Would you like to be let loose to cut flowers in our field? Our Open Field sessions take you behind the fence and give you the opportunity to do just that. We will meet at 9.30am out the front of the Poppy & Fern shop (in front of Three Blue Ducks Restaurant at The Farm) Jess will then take you straight to the flower field. You will get an up close and personal look at what we have been up to, Which flowers we have in season and how we grow them. We will discuss growing seasonal flowers and which blooms are the best for cutting. You will learn harvesting tips and tricks and how to care for your flowers to get the longest vase life. You will then spend time harvesting your own blooms, taking photos and enjoying the overall beauty of the field. Session lasts around 1-1.5 hours depending on group size.

Please be respectful of our special place, stay on paths and listen to directions given. You will leave with a beautiful selection of in-arranged seasonal flowers chosen and harvested by yourself, consisting of around 30 stems. Please bring a bucket to keep your flowers happy and hydrated on your trip home.

This is an experience for adults, Any kids must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
