From Little Things, Big Things Grow - Happy 10th Birthday to The Farm

Celebrating 10 Years of The Farm

What started a decade ago as a simple conversation around a dinner table has grown into something far greater—a living, breathing ecosystem of growers, educators, chefs, and changemakers, all united by a shared vision.

The Farm was born from a dream to reconnect people with real food, the land, and a more sustainable way of living. Ten years on, that dream has flourished beyond our wildest hopes, igniting a flame in all of us that continues to burn bright.

A Decade of Growth & Impact

Today, The Farm is a thriving example of regenerative agriculture in action, a space where food is grown in harmony with nature—chemical-free, nutrient-dense, and restorative to the land.

It has become a living classroom, an incubator for ideas, and a place where people come to learn, connect, and be inspired. With new opportunities on the horizon, including our partnership with Southern Cross University, we are pushing forward to create even greater impact in the years to come.

Over the past decade, we’ve witnessed the power of small actions creating lasting change:

  • Regenerating the Land: We’ve planted thousands of trees, regenerated our creek, and created a refuge for native animals, turning a busy roadside into a thriving habitat.

  • Supporting Farmers & Families: We’ve supported farmers and families in pursuing their dreams, proving that sustainable farming is not only possible but essential.

  • Nurturing Local Craft & Food Culture: The Farm has become a launchpad for passionate artisans and makers, providing a space where ideas take root and thrive. From baking real bread to growing sustainable flowers and crafting small-batch delights, these businesses embody simplicity, quality, and integrity. Their success shows what’s possible when creativity flourishes in a community built on sustainability, purpose, and connection.

  • A Restaurant with a Philosophy: When Three Blue Ducks joined us, they didn’t just bring a restaurant; they brought a philosophy. Their food has always told a story—of the seasons, of the soil, of the farmers who dedicate their lives to growing what ends up on our plates. Through their passion, they have shown visitors what real food is: not just something to eat, but something to cherish, something that connects us all.

  • Education & Collaboration: We’ve sparked critical conversations, partnered with Sea Forest on innovative solutions, and are evolving into a living lab with Southern Cross University—bridging the gap between research and industry. Through education, we’re helping countless visitors understand the importance of local, seasonal, and chemical-free food.

  • Giving Back & Inspiring Change: We’ve brought farm life to people all over the world, offering a glimpse into what’s possible when we work with the land rather than against it. And above all, we’ve given back—feeding, educating, and inspiring our communities to make better choices for themselves and the planet.

Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain deeply committed to our mission: GROW. FEED. EDUCATE. GIVE BACK. The next decade is about extending our impact, sparking new conversations, and bringing more people into this movement for change. The Farm is not just a place—it’s a way forward, a vision for a regenerative future, and a testament to what’s possible when passion and purpose come together.

Here’s to the next 10 years!
