Friday 6 December – Love and Care for Our Planet

Our immersive Mini Farmers Program offers children the unique opportunity to experience life on a working farm. Over 8 weeks, children will help with seasonal farm chores and tend to their garden plot.

The program strikes a balance between learning and play, allowing children to form friendships, rest, and appreciate the wonders of nature. Each week covers a new and exciting theme, from crafting lavender bath bombs and exploring the healing properties of plants to learning about seeds, pollination, and making pesto from farm-grown herbs. Children will also dive into the world of flowers, medicinal herbs, natural products, and sustainable living, culminating in hands- on activities like clay play and gardening that connect them with the environment and foster a love for our planet. Through engaging discussions and creative projects, children and teachers learn together in a fun, supportive environment, making lifelong memories and developing a deeper connection to the world around them.

We will explore the healing properties of lavender and its various uses, make lavender bath bombs and mist spray.
