October is the perfect time to sow warm-season annuals, giving plants time to establish before the hot weather arrives. This workshop is dedicated to the bold, colourful and fast-growing varieties that thrive in the heat and keep your garden producing throughout summer and the festive season.

WHY SPRING MATTERS

Summer flowers need a head start.

Planting in spring gives your plants time to establish strong, healthy roots before the heat arrives, setting them up to bloom throughout December, January and February.

You’ll leave with a clear seasonal planting guide, a tray full of freshly sown seeds and the confidence and skills to get your plants into the ground and care for a garden full of summer blooms.

WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR

This workshop is perfect if you love the idea of creating your own cutting garden but aren’t sure where to begin.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to strengthen your seasonal growing skills, Jess will guide you through the practical steps needed to plan, plant and care for a productive summer cutting garden.
