Grow Cut Flowers Summer is a hands-on, two-day spring workshop designed to set your cutting garden up for a summer full of flowers.
October is the perfect time to sow warm-season annuals, giving plants time to establish before the hot weather arrives. This workshop is dedicated to the bold, colourful and fast-growing varieties that thrive in the heat and keep your garden producing throughout summer and the festive season.
If you dream of armfuls of zinnias, cosmos, celosia, sunflowers, basil, amaranth and all those joyful summer textures, this course will show you exactly how to grow them.
Led by Jess Connor of Poppy & Fern, this practical workshop is ideal for beginners, home gardeners and anyone wanting to grow seasonal flowers with intention.

WHY SPRING MATTERS
Summer flowers need a head start.
Planting in spring gives your plants time to establish strong, healthy roots before the heat arrives, setting them up to bloom throughout December, January and February.
You’ll leave with a clear seasonal planting guide, a tray full of freshly sown seeds and the confidence and skills to get your plants into the ground and care for a garden full of summer blooms.

This is an outdoor, hands-on workshop held in the elements. Expect to get your hands dirty and spend plenty of time working directly in the garden.
