Farm Yarns: Regenerating the Planet through Permaculture

  • The Farm Byron Bay 11 Ewingsdale Road Ewingsdale, NSW, 2481 Australia (map)

Sam Parker-Davies, known for his incredible work 'greening the desert' with communities in the Middle East, is our special guest for the first Farm Yarns of 2024: Regenerating the Planet through Permaculture.

Sam will be sharing insights and wisdom from his work in drylands and aid, whole system designs, food forests, self-sufficiency gardens, ecovillage designs and more, drawn from years of creating and establishing regenerative environments across the globe.

Sam's unique experience in optimising permaculture practices specific to each climate will come into play, as we explore the possibilities of permaculture in our local Northern Rivers region.

Sam will be joined by The Farm's resident agroecologist, Bunya Halasz, and world-renowned permaculturalist, Geoff Lawton, sharing their wealth of knowledge on growing food within ecologically regenerative systems.
