Come join Peter Howard (our science guy) and Hannah Robertson from Our Little Flower Farm at The Farmhouse and learn how to make composting and growing part of your everyday life!

Hannah Robertson, is a small scale cut flower farmer and environmentally responsible florist. She teaches workshops and provides mentorship in the fundamentals of no dig/low dig agriculture for small scale flower farmers and quality production of cut flowers.

Peter Howard is a research biologist with a PHD in Molecular Genetics who is using his three decades of biological research experience to develop science based composting and gardening systems and practices that make it easy to turn waste into a resource, build soil health and grow your own organic food.

We will cover:

  • Site assessment

  • Small space garden design

  • Choosing plants for your garden

  • Small space gardening and composting with Modbed

  • Making fertiliser for your plants with compost from your Subpod

  • Subpod online support through our Grow Hub Community
