Spring Bouquet, Grow & Design Workshop
Saturday September 21st. 9am-12pm
An introduction to growing and designing with spring flowers.
In this workshop Jess will share her love and knowledge for all things sustainable flowers. You will learn which flowers grow best in your area, when to start plating and how to start from seed. Strolling through the flower fields you will discuss how to look after your plants and learn harvesting tips and tricks. Heading back to the Farm House with an arm full of flowers you will then design and create your own bouquet of spring flowers to take home. All techniques will be demonstrated carefully and will be fun for all ability levels.
$95 + booking fees
Price includes use of all tools needed, a bouquet of spring flowers and a selection of our favourite seeds to take home.
This flower workshop will introduce you to growing and designing with spring flowers, and will cover the following:
· Choosing the best flowers to grow in your area
· Growing from seed
· Looking after your plants
· Harvest, conditioning and looking after cut flowers
· Designing and creating a bouquet
Jess’ early love of flowers has led her on a 15 year journey, soaking up the wisdom of leaders in floristry design, permaculture and horticulture. Today, she uses that knowledge to sow, nurture, harvest and design with her organically grown blooms.
