Fermented drinks and vinegars workshop - Jul 24

Fermented drinks and vinegars workshop

Fermentation School By Suria Foods

Saturday 24th of July, 10am - 2pm

Most people associate fermented drinks with kombucha and kefir. What if I told you that you can learn how to make wild natural fermented drinks without any cultures or starters.

Fermented beverages have been a staple of the human diet since practically the dawn of (recorded) time (or at least 9000 years ago).

They are easy to make and loaded with natural probiotics, beneficial gut bacteria.

This course is an opportunity to learn the techniques of an ancient method of fermenting the liquids. We will go through the most ancient drinks found all around the world as well as learn the methods of vinegar making. Talk about the difference and benefits of wild fermentation to culturing.

Its a hand on class so bring a box. You will be taking a lot of jars with kvass, mead, tepache and vinegars home.

We will be offering a degustation of Suria Foods drinks throughout the class as well as some snacks at the end of the workshop.
